Contrabass Pickup - False Realist 25-2
This is a handmade pickup for the double bass.
It is designed to be placed under the bridge.
While it's true that the low frequencies can be boomy, with the increasing number of sound engineers experienced with this type of pickup, it's possible to achieve a clear sound even in large venues when they are involved in the sound production. If you're only using the line-out sound, this pickup surprisingly produces higher frequencies than the lifeline type.
It can be attached to the tailpiece using the included arched clip or a zip tie.
The jack is a Rean brand, but while I can't confirm for this specific unit, there are occasional compatibility issues with Rean male phone jacks.
That's unbelievable...
If such an issue occurs immediately after use, please report it.
This is a new item that has only been tested for operation, but it has a handmade feel.
Please be careful not to cut your fingers on the edges of the copper foil.
