Handmade Pickup for Contrabass - Clamp-on Type / Version 1
This is a handmade pickup for the double bass.
It's designed to be inserted into the gap next to the bridge. The photo is for illustrative purposes. In reality, it's better to insert it a bit further in. If it's too tight and ends up in the position shown in the photo, you may need to file down the bridge foot.
The sensor is slightly over 5mm thick.
It's new and has only been tested for functionality, but it has a handmade feel.
The style is to secure it to the tailpiece with a zip tie or similar, as shown in the photo.
