Kyudo Kimono - Washable Unlined - Bat-collar
This is a kimono modified for Kyudo (Japanese archery).
It's a washable kimono with navy green stripes and a floral pattern, perfect for practice.
Although it's not new because the basting stitches have been removed, it's a beautiful kimono.
Slits of about 26 cm have been added to both sides.
The seams are reinforced with a sewing machine to prevent tearing.
A chest protector was also made from the same fabric.
The inside of the chest protector has many holes punched in it using a file to prevent stuffiness.
The elastic band is a sturdy one purchased from a wholesaler.
The elastic is approximately 103 cm, but if it's too long, please tie it on the left side. If it's too short, I will include extra elastic when you purchase.
The size of the chest protector is standard, and although it may appear large in the image, it actually conforms to the body and fits well, so it's fine.
The miyatsuguchi (armhole openings) have also been secured to prevent underwear from showing when raising the arms.
Pockets have also been added.
They are attached to the lower side so they are not visible from the sasakuchi (slit) of the hakama.
Length: approx. 106 cm, Sleeve to center back: 66 cm, Sleeve length: 47.5 cm
Front width: 24.5 cm, Back width: 29 cm
Please understand that these are approximate measurements.
It has a bachi collar (a type of kimono collar).
This is a handmade item made with a home sewing machine by an amateur. Please understand that there may be some wrinkles, distortions, or imperfections in the stitching before purchasing.
Please refrain from price negotiations.
It will be folded compactly for shipping, so please be aware of this.
