This is a ro (gauze-like) Edo komon kimono, dyed with an extremely small鮫小紋 (same komon - sharkskin pattern) on an elegant plum-mouse color base.

There is no crest.
It comes with a reassuring inseam lining.

The reverse side features a light brown 万筋 (manji - thousand lines pattern), and the color of the reverse subtly shows through to the front, creating a deep, two-sided dyeing effect.

The appearance changes depending on the light and your movement when worn, allowing you to enjoy a unique charm not found in single-color fabrics.
