● Product Description
This is an unlined kimono (awase), suitable for wear from October to May.
The fabric is a supple, soft, and slightly heavy chirimen crepe.
The pattern is a fine same (sharkskin) Edo komon design in ash white on a deep red base.
Edo komon patterns appear as plain fabric from a distance, making them versatile like a solid-colored kimono, which is very convenient.
Enjoy a variety of personal styles by coordinating with different obi sashes and accessories, and this item is perfect for tea ceremonies, suitable for a wide range of occasions.
The lining (hakkake) is coral colored (100% silk) and can be worn by people of all ages.

* Same (sharkskin), Gyogi (proper), and Toshi (straight) patterns are representative of Edo komon and are considered highly elegant designs known as the Three Roles of Edo Komon.
It will look beautifully and stylishly appropriate for elegant tea ceremonies.
Although it appears plain from a distance, the finely dyed kizame (fine sharkskin) pattern, a traditional craft, creates a unique, soft, and moist beauty that is not found in plain fabrics, making it a practical and exquisite item for daily life.
You can enjoy various expressions depending on the obi sash and accessories you choose.
