N/A The Suicide Race Carol Austin 1996 First Edition Mondo Press Rice WA Omak...

Item Description Up for auction or purchase is an exceptionally rare piece of Pacific Northwest regional history: The Suicide Race by Carol Austin. Published in 1996 by the hyper-local independent publisher The Mondo Press out of Rice, Washington, this elusive book chronicles the history, culture, and controversy surrounding the world-famous Omak Suicide Race tied to the Omak Stampede. Because of its incredibly small, localized print run, this title is highly sought after by regional historians, rodeo enthusiasts, and collectors of Native American horse culture.
