Tea Ceremony Practice Kimono ㊷6・Slight Imperfection・100% Silk・Dark Navy・Reverse Side Compatible・With 2 Pockets
Thank you for viewing.
This is a practice garment for tea ceremony that allows you to practice with a feeling similar to wearing a kimono.
I have been pursuing tea ceremony, Japanese sewing, and Western sewing as a hobby for many years.
I wanted to practice while wearing Western clothes with the same crisp feeling as when wearing a kimono, and I experimented through trial and error.
Several people tried it on and performed the tea ceremony, and I received generally positive feedback.
■ A skirt made of the same material can also be made (it can be wrapped around easily, tapers at the hem for a flattering silhouette, and is less likely to come undone in the front).
It will be made to fit your body, so please comment if you have any requests.
・・・・
■ Material: 100% Silk
・ Deep navy blue with a glossy sheen.
・ Beautiful shading.
・ A slightly rough texture with a crisp feel, like Tsumugi silk.
・ Comfortable to wear, feels like it molds to your body.
Size: Free
(Fits S to 3L)
Washing: Hand washable
After hand washing, iron while still slightly damp.
Reason for discount: The lining of the back uses the edge of the fabric roll, but it is not visible when worn. It is discounted by a small amount of 200 yen.
・・・・
■ The neckline is deep, with deep shoulder tucks and a dropped waistline that creates a three-dimensional fit. It conforms to your body, so items in your pocket won't fall out, and you can even carry a kettle mat.
■ The front belt (obi) is wide and features a thick obi lining, giving you that crisp feeling like when wearing a kimono.
■ The structure where the obi for attaching the fukusa is pulled directly by the shoulder straps (Photos 2 and 3) allows you to attach the fukusa with one hand and it is less likely to fall off.
■ Tying the shoulder straps in the front and tucking them under the obi increases stability and creates a neat appearance (Photos 3 and 4).
If you clip the fukusa to these straps, it will be even less likely to fall off, which is recommended.
■ The obi is fixed only at the sides, so it can be worn in reverse.
■ In my case, I need to cover my midsection (lol).
I've attached a bit of extra fabric under the obi with tucks, which cleverly conceals it and is very helpful.
■ There are two small pockets there, which are convenient.
・・・・
■ I also have a separate listing for a storage bag that can be used as a sukiya-bukuro.
Sorry, currently out of stock.
If purchased as a set,
✱ You will receive a 300 yen discount ✱
You can mix and match.
Any bag will fit.
Please comment if you are interested.
