・The frames priced from ¥3450 in my listings are made of pine. I have now started selling cedar frames, which are more affordable and accessible!
◆Cedar wood has its pros and cons...
〇Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight
〇Cons: Cedar is soft and breathes, which can cause changes in the frame over time. While the joints are reinforced with glue, **wood can move due to humidity or dryness, potentially creating gaps at the joints.** This can also happen with pine, but the risk is higher with cedar. (This phenomenon can even be observed in original Heather frames costing over ¥10,000. It's a disadvantage inherent to solid wood, but I hope you understand its characteristics.)
