I am organizing my belongings as I no longer have opportunities to wear kimonos.

This Silky (Silook) kimono was custom-made at Kobo Obebeyasan about 1.5 years ago. I have worn it a few times. Since it can be easily washed if it gets dirty, it is perfect for Japanese cultural lessons and outings. It can be washed whole in a washing machine. The lining and sleeve lining are also Toray Silky (Silook).

Perhaps because of the fine Edo Komon pattern, the color is difficult to capture accurately. It appears surprisingly brighter when worn.
