Viola 4/4 (40.5cm)
This is a 40.5cm viola.
It has no label, but based on the surface finish and tone, I believe it's comparable to a viola in the double-digit price range.
Included accessories are: Bonmusica (used a few times, retail price ¥12,000), carbon bow (black horsehair, made in China, ¥13,000, used 1-2 times), original wooden bow (needs adjustment), case, rosin, and rubber mute.
One important note:
The bridge height is not set correctly. I used it tuned an octave below a violin. If you intend to play it at viola tuning, you will need to take it to a workshop to have the bridge shaved down.
While adjustments are necessary, the Bonmusica and carbon bow were purchased new. I recommend this viola for violinists looking to switch to viola, or for beginners looking to upgrade!
