[archive] 90s Erima Line Track Jacket
○ Description of item
This is a 1990s erima track jacket with orange-red stripes, purchased at a vintage clothing store in Tokyo for approximately 14,000 yen.
erima is a German brand. From 1960 to 1972, it was the official supplier for the German Olympic team. Currently, it sponsors German Bundesliga football club 1. FC Köln, handball Bundesliga teams Rhein-Neckar Löwen and SG Flensburg-Handewitt, as well as TV 1860 München, the German Gymnastics Federation, and the German Tennis Federation.
According to the vintage store owner,
erima was a niche brand even back then, with very limited production.
He mentioned that this particular track jacket with orange-red stripes was an instant sell-out and rarely appears on the market.
The design itself is reminiscent of a Puma parody with its emblem on the zipper pull, and the combination of orange-red with black stripes is a perfect representation of current trends in track jackets.
Not only the design, but also the silhouette and sizing are excellent, making it ideal for the upcoming season.
This is a rare find that's hard to come by, so it will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
It's recommended for those who like sports brands like Nike, Adidas, and Puma, or for those who prefer unique items.
I was told by the vintage store that orange-red items are extremely rare.
Please feel free to comment if you have any questions.
Recommended for those who like hanes, fruits of the loom, jerzees, anvil, oneita, anoluck, props store, epoch, paletown, Thrasher, Nike, adidas, x-large, Oakley, antwort, salomon, umbro, Ennoy, creek, Bott, supreme, old stussy.
