This is a 1998 Japan Men's Basketball National Team card set commemorating their participation in the World Championship for the first time in 31 years. The current leap forward in Japanese basketball started with these national team members. Many of them continue to support Japanese basketball today as coaches or team representatives.

A notable feature is the inclusion of Yuta Tabuse's rookie card. This is the only card of Yuta Tabuse from his legendary undefeated high school days at Noshiro Technical High School.

*This is a valuable collection from over 25 years ago.
