3/4 Violin Bow
3/4 Violin Bow
Manufacturer: A.KNOLL
Country of Origin: Germany
Grade: 4-star
Size: 3/4
This bow is over 20 years old.
I recall this being the top-of-the-line fractional size bow from this manufacturer. No issues with screw movement in the mortise. No stick warping when tensioned. Varnish and clear coat peeling, plating parts have dirt and tarnish. Hair and grip leather will be replaced with new ones.
Even with mass-produced instruments, pernambuco wood was standard for string instrument bows. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case in recent years, with even expensive bows and manufacturers having to use other materials. The used bows we sell at Atta!! are made from genuine pernambuco wood from that era, and the frog material and screw materials are also excellent from that time. We hope that these bows will be passed down and that children will have the opportunity to know and use the real thing.
