【Established German Manufacturer】Knorr *ALFRED KNOLL* Violin Bow 4/4
Alfred Knoll
Germany, circa 1990
4/4 Size Violin Bow
The Knoll company was founded in 1932 by Alfred Knoll and is now a long-established business passed down through three generations of the Knoll family.
They produce bows for violin, viola, cello, and bass, and Knoll's commitment begins with material selection, using Pernambuco wood that has been carefully selected and stored for many years.
This is not an entry-level bow (nickel fittings) with a KNOLL stamp or an ALFRED KNOLL stamp without a star, but a genuine bow one step above the entry-level class, with a star stamp and silver fittings (¥200,000 and up).
How about upgrading from an entry-level bow?
This is a wonderful bow, so don't miss out.
Enjoy a bow carefully selected by a specialist shop, offering everything from new bows to old bows, with prices ranging from tens of thousands to millions of yen.
Stamp: *ALFRED KNOLL* (List Price: ¥220,000)
Stick: Pernambuco Round Stick
Frog: Ebony
Fittings: Silver
Weight: 61g
This is a slightly older bow, and there are some scratches and dirt from use, but it is in good condition with no loss of performance as a bow and can be used for a long time to come.
It has been rehaired and maintained. Please apply rosin generously before use.
We also have many other bows from workshops and famous brands available.
Please let us know in advance if you would like to purchase multiple items or a bow with an instrument, as discounts are available.
