Peasant villiage
Peasant Villiage vintage terracotta or clay cooking pot
Peasant Village was an elite mid-century brand owned by the New York-based importing firm Mittledorfer Straus. They contracted with various European workshops to produce stylized, rustic kitchenware specifically for the American market. This is a fluted terracotta baking casserole. The faint text right below P.V. originally read MADE IN FRANCE along with a specific style or mold number.
