Other Vintage Japanese Miniature Tea Set Boxed Teapot 2 Cups Crackle Floral Ox Cart

A small vintage Japanese miniature tea set in its original box, including a teapot with a wrapped rattan handle and gilt-trimmed spout plus two matching cups. Warm cream ground with a fine crackle glaze — original to the finish, not damage — hand-decorated with florals and an ox-cart/carriage motif, touched with gilt. The teapot measures about 3.5 inches across, so this is a decorative or display piece rather than a working set. No maker's mark. Very good condition with no chips or cracks seen in the photos; the original box shows light wear and a small tear to the label. See all photos.
