Offered here is a beautiful pair of handmade studio pottery trinket dishes, formed in an organic shell or oyster shape. Each piece measures approximately 4 1/2 x 4 and is hand-formed with irregular naturalistic edges. The layered glazes feature earthy browns, creams, and black with areas of blue speckling, giving each piece depth and movement. No two are exactly alike. Both pieces are stamped on the underside with what appears to be an M or maker's mark.
