【Genuine Product】Scotty Cameron Original Weight 35g
Removable Sole Weight Set 35g x 2
These are genuine Scotty Cameron weights.
⚠︎ They are compatible with almost all series, but
※ some models are not compatible.
※ Fastback/Squareback etc. are not compatible.
Please feel free to contact us.
※ There are many cases where generic/compatible products are sold, mistaken for genuine/authentic products. While you can distinguish them by the font on the surface, products with a flat back are almost always compatible (or imitations, to put it bluntly). Genuine products have a recess on the back. This is because the weight is adjusted by shaving it down.
I bought these because I wanted to make my putter heavier.
I only used them a few times on an indoor practice mat after attaching them.
In the end, I never used them in actual play.
I purchased them from the California Studio Store in the US.
I bought them as part of a combined shipment because I wanted other items.
Since it was a personal import, overseas shipping, customs duties, and fees added about $60 (around 9,600 yen), but
since they cannot be purchased new individually in Japan, it was unavoidable (^◇^;)
The price was $80 (around 13,000 yen).
For weights from 5g to 20g, the price is $50 (around 8,000 yen).
From 25g upwards, the price jumps to $80.
The price difference is due to the change in material.
Up to 20g is stainless steel.
25g and above is tungsten.
Since they are weights, as long as the weight matches,
I think compatible/generic/third-party products would be fine... However, they don't fit perfectly...
These types of compatible products don't sit flush.
Even when tightened firmly, they stick out about 0.1-0.3mm (;´Д`A
Some even have a negative (recessed) fit... There are individual differences. They are not made with precision. Some even have poorly made threads that could damage the important screw threads.
However, with blade-type putters, the sole weight position doesn't touch the ground, so in theory, it wouldn't catch or affect putting. But for me, it just feels wrong. Since I'm using a Cameron, I don't want to use any parts or accessories other than genuine ones.
Genuine products fit perfectly flush on any series ✨
It feels great^_−☆
For Cameron users who are particular about genuine products,
the putter's feel and performance will be completely different with these weights.
Please give them a try ✨
