Yamaha SLB200 Silent Bass Ebony Fingerboard
This is the second generation of Yamaha's Silent Bass. The latest model is the third generation (SLB300), making this a previous generation model. It can be played at low volumes, making it ideal for those who want to practice quietly, or it can be connected to an amplifier for band performances. It folds compactly, making it easier to transport than a double bass.
The SLB200 initially featured an ebony fingerboard, which was later changed to rosewood. I contacted the manufacturer using the serial number and confirmed that this unit has an ebony fingerboard. The current lineup features ebony on the SLB300 Pro.
Before listing, I tested the sound and EQ functionality by connecting it to an amplifier.
As this is a used item, there are minor scratches and dents in the paint. It is not in pristine, like-new condition, but there are no issues that affect playability. String height preference varies depending on playing style, so please adjust it after purchase. The case has some minor fraying, but it is not severe enough to impede transport.
Includes the extension frame (BEF2) and a dedicated stand.
