Evans VTG Evans Kissing Children Litho Wood Plaque 1972 Hummel Style MCM Wall Art Read

A sweet token of childhood innocence from the golden era of retro decor! This Vintage 1972 Evans Wood Plaque features a charming, Hummel-style illustration of a little boy and girl sharing a sweet kiss. With its rustic wooden frame and classic 1970s earth-tone palette, it's a lovely piece of nostalgic art ready to bring warmth to a new space. • Artist/Brand: Evans (Published by Scafa-Tornabene Art Publishing Co.). • Year: 1972. • Material: Lithograph print decoupaged on a thick, bevel-edged solid wood plaque with a metal ring hanger at the top. • Origin: Back bears the original vintage Made in Philippines stock sticker; front print is marked Litho in USA. • Condition: Fair Vintage Condition (As-Is). The wooden base and hanging loop are completely sturdy. The print graphics remain beautifully colored, but there is noticeable age-appropriate water staining/foxing along the right border and lower edge of the print (please see close-up photos). No deep gouges or structural splits. This piece is an absolute dream for anyone curating a #Cottagecore, #70sKitsch, or #Grandmillennial gallery wall. It has a beautiful, authentic patina that only decades of time can give. It looks incredibly sweet hanging in a vintage nursery, a cozy hallway, or resting on a shelf alongside other mid-century collectibles.
