77mm Filter Ring (Filter Holder / ND Quick Release Switch)
This is a 77mm filter ring (or lens filter holder/ND quick-release switch).
I purchased this filter ring on Amazon because I frequently use ND filters for video shooting, but after trying to attach it to my lens once, I haven't actually used it.
It appears to be made of aluminum metal and seems to be sturdily constructed.
It attached without any issues to a SONY lens and a Marumi Optical ND filter.
Even when the filter ring was opened, it held its position without loosening.
As I haven't used it in daily shooting, I cannot comment on its actual usability or performance. However, based on my test fitting, I believe it can be used without any particular problems.
