Stubborn Fan Wood Fan Practice Short Stick Monzo Wood Fan 3
✳ Product Information ✳
This is a wooden fan/training tool made from Monzo wood.
As it is made from Monzo, one of the world's heaviest woods, it is suitable for strengthening your wrists.
I personally own a handmade cane made from raw Monzo wood, and even when used for sparring with a Kashi wood sword or subjected to rough handling, it has never chipped, cracked, or broken, demonstrating its exceptional durability.
White Oak: Air-dry specific gravity 0.74~1.02, resistant to cracking
Red Oak (Ichii Oak): Air-dry specific gravity 1.05 (0.80), slightly prone to cracking
Monzo: Air-dry specific gravity 1.20~1.24, resistant to cracking
When held in a reverse grip, the length from the elbow to the tip is approximately 3-5cm, making it easy to handle.
Detailed dimensions and weight are shown in the images.
Finished with linseed oil and coated with beeswax cream.
Accessories: Persimmon tannin-dyed wooden prayer beads, approximately 1m of 5mm thick black rayon Edo-braided cord.
(The persimmon tannin dyeing is amateur work, so please excuse any imperfections.)
✳ Care Instructions ✳
・Apply a thin layer of woodworking beeswax cream every two weeks or when you notice it needs care. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes to absorb, then polish with paper towels or a cloth.
・Every six months, apply a thin layer of wood oil (linseed oil, camellia oil, etc.), let it absorb, and then dry in a well-ventilated, dust-free area before polishing with paper towels or a cloth.
・If it gets very wet, wipe off the moisture and let it air dry in a well-ventilated place. Rapid drying or applying heat may cause cracking.
✳ Precautions ✳
※We are not responsible for any legal or physical troubles arising from the use of this product, its results, or carrying it outside of your home or training space.
