※ JUMBO Flat Mandolin [ Conversion ]

US Size:

Thank you very much for viewing our product.
This is a conversion of a well-maintained JUMBO into an M company Style A.
Case is included.
(Modified parts)
① Replaced with GoldenAge pegs.
② Binding replaced with tortoiseshell-style celluloid.
③ Step processing at the base of the neck.
④ 12th fret position mark removed and corrected.
⑤ Installed Schaller Oyster pickup.
(High output type)
⑥ Fret leveling.
⑦ Pickguard made from a 1930s flat tortoise shell. (Pickguard outer edge chamfered)
➇ Tailpiece cover made in an original style.
(Same type as original, inserted from above)
Other internal stamps are present.
The conversion was done with considerable expense. The approximate cost for parts and labor, excluding the main unit, is around 80,000 yen.
We believe you can fully enjoy the atmosphere of this instrument.
The tone is not the sharp sound of an F-style mandolin, but rather a mellow, gentle, and voluminous sound. It is perfect for folk, Irish music, etc.
Country music is also suitable, of course.
The string height is approximately 1.5mm on the G string at the 12th fret, making it very easy to play.
Currently strung with Martin M400 strings. Please replace them with your preferred strings after purchase.
Equipped with a pickup, it is ready for live performance immediately.
This item is a conversion of a vintage instrument. We appreciate your understanding.
If you are interested, please purchase with no claims and no returns.
The item will be shipped with the case wrapped securely in bubble wrap.
