○ Product Description
Cello: Although there is no label, this baroque cello was custom-made around 2010 by a German workshop for the previous owner. The maker is unknown. Oil varnish has been used. The previous owner commissioned it for approximately ¥1,300,000. It is a baroque-style instrument without an endpin. (The neck angle is baroque style, and the bridge is shaped like a modern French bridge.) It was used with 415hz tuning.
The A and D strings are plain gut, and the G and C strings are Pirastro Gold (gut strings with metal winding). Even with the top two strings metal-wound, it produced a good sound.
The volume is not loud, but it has a natural tone that can express a range from bright to dark and deep sounds, making it very soothing to play at night.
A classical bow, close to modern style, is included. This is a great value set with both a bow and a hard case.
Shipping is scheduled for weekends. Please allow up to 3 days for shipping as packing is also required. Thank you for your understanding.
