Shamisen - Junk
Used Shamisen
The skin on both the front and back of the body is torn.
I received this from someone who said they wanted me to take it if I played Okinawan sanshin. I don't know much about shamisen, so I probably won't be able to answer any questions.
Also, there are torn parts and missing metal fittings, so please treat this as junk. The price includes shipping, so please refrain from requests to lower the price. Shipping alone for an instrument like this will likely cost around 2000 yen. Since this was a gift, I am listing it with no profit. Additionally, to prevent damage during transport, I will disassemble it to some extent before shipping. Small parts are placed inside the shamisen body, so please be careful not to discard them by mistake.
Please only proceed with the transaction if you are able to perform a 3K (clean, check, and repair).
Incidentally, the person who gave it to me is very wealthy, so I believe it is a good quality item. They apparently purchased it to tune their koto.
There is a sticker on the inside of the body with the name of the store where it was purchased, possibly the name of the craftsman, and the last name of the buyer.
I believe it can be restored into a magnificent shamisen if sent for repair. On another auction site, a very similar shamisen was listed used for 78,000 yen. This is for reference only.
