Cello Bow Archet A3001 Archet
Cello Bow Archet A3001
¥77,000
Stamp: ARC.JP
Stick: Ipe
Frog: Nickel Silver, Ebony
Wrapping: Cowhide, Silver wire (The official description states this, but specifications seem to change occasionally, so it might be different. I lack material knowledge and will prioritize the actual item.)
*Approx. 80.9g
(The photo makes it look like 81.9g due to poor lighting.)
This is an entry-level bow from Archet, made in Odawara, Japan.
I believe I purchased it about 2 years ago.
This one is made of Ipe wood.
It's easy to handle and has a clean sound, so I think it will suit most instruments. Music shops often recommend it as a first bow.
It's not a bow included in a set, but an established product from a dedicated bow maker, so new ones are rarely discounted.
The weight balance is also good.
I haven't played it much as a secondary bow, so the hair still grips well and doesn't need rehairing yet. I had it rehaired before winter, but it feels slightly stretched due to humidity.
If you require rehairing for each season, please arrange for it.
I used a bow protector while playing, so I will include it if you wish.
There is a product tag on the bottom of the frog (decorative slide). I shifted it when rehairing and taped the edge. While the engraving is present and sufficient, I've left it as is for easy identification of the model number and price.
Please remove it if you don't need it.
It will be placed in a paper bow case.
The bow hard case used for photography is not included.
This item has been maintained and used normally. Please consider purchasing after reviewing the photos and description.
If you purchase this along with an instrument, I will deduct the shipping cost.
