This is a German-made Viol Cleaner that can be used for polishing and rosin removal on instruments such as violins, violas, and cellos.

As with all cleaners, first apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area of the instrument to check for compatibility with the instrument's varnish before using it on the entire surface.
Of course, it can also be used for rosin removal from bows.
