Spode Spode Christmas Tree Peppermint Santa Dip Bowl With‎ Spreader in Gift Box READ

Santa Dip Bowl With Spreader in Gift Box READ This ceramic peppermint Santa Bowl has the traditional Spode Christmas tree in the front. Approximate Dimension: 4 5/8 Width 4 3/4 Tall Spreader is 3 7/8 Long Pre-loved. NOTE: There is crazing on this piece. In and out of the bowl, on Santa's hat, and also on the spreader handle. Crazing is caused by the glaze being under too much tension. This tension occurs when the glaze contracts more than the clay body during cooling. Because glazes are a very thin coating, most will craze under very little tension. This crazing seems to be limited to the white portions of the piece. A small chip on the edge of the spreader. The original styrofoam and gift box are included. The last few photos are my attempt to capture the crazing under the lights, turning the piece just so. Please use the zoom feature on the photos to see all aspects of this nice bowl. The photos are a big part of the description.
