This game is one where you can win reasonably well if you don't get discouraged by a few losses and learn your favorite character's combos!
The responsiveness is superb. Unlike the Street Fighter series, the jump trajectory is similar to traditional 2D fighting games, making it difficult to tell if you're being jumped over. This results in fewer me-kuri (over-the-head) attacks that hit you. The controls are agile, and the inertia from ground and air dashes is reflected naturally. Once you can pull off long combos, it becomes an explosively fun and highly addictive game!
