Petzl IDs

The ID S self-braking descender is designed for work at height and rope access. Its ergonomic handle allows for comfortable descent control. The anti-panic function and anti-error catch reduce the risk of accidents due to user error. The auto-lock system allows for easy stopping at a work position without manipulating the handle or tying off the rope. Even when locked, slack can be taken up in the rope without operating the handle. The safety catch allows the device to be attached to the rope while connected to the harness. The ID S can be used with ropes of 10 - 11.5mm diameter.
