Rare Leica SL Filter (E.Leitz N.Y. Logo) E41

Leica E41 Skylight Filter.

This is a 41mm screw-in filter that can be used with lenses such as the Summarit 50mm/F1.5 and Summilux 35mm/F1.4 (1st) Steel Rim.

Genuine E41 filters are rare to begin with, and those with the E.Leitz N.Y. marking are even rarer.
While Summarit or Wetzlar Germany marked filters are occasionally seen, E.Leitz N.Y. marked ones are almost never encountered.

There are some signs of use, and slight corrosion on the edges of the glass, but overall it is very clean. There are no defects that would interfere with its use.
