This is a men's nagajuban featuring an intricate design of sword tsuba (guards), wooden tags, and calligraphy.
With its calm, diagonal stripes in shades of gray and subtly colored patterns scattered throughout, it exudes a sense of iki (chic sophistication).
The traditional tailoring involves folding the fabric at the shoulder peaks, resulting in the pattern on the back panel appearing upside down. This is a common characteristic of nagajuban.
