This sweet vintage Sunbonnet Sue quilt is a charming example of classic American quiltmaking. Measuring approximately 62 x 75, it features twenty four hand-appliquéd Sunbonnet Sue blocks, each dressed in different coordinating fabrics and framed by cheerful sky-blue sashing and borders. The soft pastel palette makes it a wonderful addition to a nursery, child's room, or vintage quilt collection. It is in good vintage condition with honest signs of age. The backing shows through the white fabric in some areas, and there is one small section along the edge that has come loose and could be easily re-sewn.
