Excellent condition Denis Wick trumpet cup mute DW5331
This is a Denis Wick mute.
I collected it as a hobby, but I haven't had much time to use it, so I'm selling it.
I didn't use it much and took good care of it, so the cork has a slight discoloration but is otherwise clean with no dents.
The box is slightly damaged due to age, so please consider it a bonus.
It will be shipped in its box, wrapped in cushioning material.
I would like to pass it on to someone who can make good use of it.
Quoted below:
A mute developed by the renowned trombonist Denis Wick, who was active as the principal player of the London Symphony Orchestra and in the Philip Jones Ensemble.
It is a consistently popular mute, characterized by its soft and expressive tone.
The cup part is detachable, allowing it to be used as a simple straight mute.
Cup mute for trumpet/cornet
