Fujitsu General nocria Front Panel Gear Unit Repair Part

This is a repair part designed and manufactured because the front panel of our home's air conditioner, Nocria, could no longer be opened or closed.

It was repaired on August 20, 2025, and has been operating almost daily without any issues.

Material: PETG
A Phillips head screwdriver is required for the repair.

Please refer to the 5th and 6th photos to confirm if the shape of the cover around the gears is the same and if the cover is cracked.

This part is designed to prevent gear skipping (when the gears spin freely and make a clunking noise) by covering and reinforcing the area around the cracked cover.

Our air conditioner model number is As-z56C2W.

To open the panel:
1. Remove the two screws on the left and right, and detach them with the white parts.
2. The panel can now be removed.
3. Inspect the gear box.
4. If the gear cover is cracked, this part will fix it.
5. Remove the screws of the gear box and detach it.
6. Remove two screws and then remove the cover, which is secured by two hooks.
7. Push this part into the cover.
8. Reassemble in reverse order.

When disassembling for repair, taking photos each step of the way will allow you to backtrack.

It is said that there are also countermeasure parts available for this failure, so please confirm the shape of the broken gear cover before purchasing.
