Famicom BPS-MAX Controller
Operation confirmed!
This is the BPS-MAX (JP-01) controller for the Family Computer (Famicom), released by Bullet-Proof Software (BPS) in the late 1980s.
The most distinctive feature of this product is its unique directional control, called the Cycloid Pad, instead of the conventional cross-shaped button.
Key Features and Feel:
Cycloid Pad: Operated by sliding the red circular button in the center up, down, left, or right. While conceptually similar to modern analog sticks or slide pads, it provides digital input.
Rapid Fire Function: Separate rapid fire buttons are located at the bottom, in addition to the A and B buttons, allowing for approximately 15-16 shots per second.
Unique Operability: Often praised for its suitability for shooting games.
Thank you for looking.
