Noragi Vintage Indigo Dyeed Kasuri Hemp Noh Climbing Cloth Old Cloth Boro NOR-156
This is a sturdy *noragi* (work coat) made from indigo-dyed *kasuri* (ikat) fabric from the late Meiji to late Taisho periods, and Noto hemp cloth. It has been well-used, resulting in a wonderful texture. The collar is completely deteriorated, but the parts are all present and could potentially be repaired. It has shoulder pads. There are stains on the collar and other areas, as well as some scuffing and wrinkles. However, the warp and weft ikat patterns are exquisite and can be enjoyed as is or used for remaking. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to the unique smell of old fabrics or the scent of moth repellents. We ask that only those who understand old fabrics and *boro* (patched textiles) make a purchase.
