AVALUNG

This item provides peace of mind by ensuring you can breathe in the event of an avalanche burial.
At the time, it was advertised as allowing 1-2 hours of breathing, reducing the initial risk of suffocation.

I always wore it as a good luck charm in the backcountry, similar to a beacon, but fortunately, I never had to use it in a real situation.

Upon listing, I thoroughly bent and inspected the bellows and the entire unit. There were no signs of deterioration or damage, and it appears to be functioning correctly as is.

Of course, the best-case scenario is never being caught in an avalanche, but carrying this along with your beacon will make for a reliable partner.
