The persimmon tannin dyeing process involves repeated dyeing and sun-drying. Due to the hand-dyeing technique, there may be unique variations in color, so please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern.

We have created a lightweight, self-standing tulip bag with a rounded shape and darts at the bottom.

Outer fabric: Persimmon tannin dyed cotton fabric from a kimono bolt
Side fabric: Cotton twill (navy)
Inner fabric: Persimmon tannin dyed cotton muslin from a kimono bolt

Interfacing is used on all outer fabrics. Interfacing is used only on the bottom of the inner fabric.

There are a total of 4 pockets: two on the outer sides and two on the inner side.
The handles are padded with quilt batting for a comfortable feel.

Persimmon tannin, used in Ise-katami (traditional Japanese stencil paper), which is also famous in Mie Prefecture, a region known for its traditional crafts.
We purchase the persimmon tannin liquid from a nearby store that manufactures and sells it.
