This is a listing for an alto horn.
Boosey & co is the predecessor to the prestigious British company Boosey & Hawkes.
I purchased it out of interest but am selling it because I haven't had time to play it.
There are multiple inconspicuous small dents, minor scratches from use, and plating peeling.
Although it is an old instrument, compared to the dents and deterioration found in many commonly circulated YAMAHA 2nd series instruments, I subjectively believe it is in beautiful condition. The heavy engraving is also superb.

All tuning slides move freely, and the pistons are light. The piston buttons (where they come into contact with the fingers) have had their silver plating peel off in several places.

There are no air leaks, and it is playable. However, as I am not an alto horn specialist, I cannot provide definitive information regarding its feel or other aspects, so please understand.
