Eppelsheimer Antique Eppelsheimer Chocolate Mold #5028 Rabbits & Frog Art Nouveau Style

This is an antique two-piece 5 tin chocolate mold by Eppelsheimer & Co. (New York), the largest American manufacturer of chocolate and ice cream molds from 1880–1947. Featuring an egg-shaped design with two rabbits and a frog, bordered with a scrollwork design featuring flowing, organic linework reminiscent of Art Nouveau style. The two halves are held together with a removable wire clip. It is marked with Eppelsheimer's signature spinning-top logo and MADE IN U.S.A., along with mold number 5028. It does have heavy patina.
