Junk Besson 601 Bb Single French Horn (Made by Josef Lidle)

This is a Besson 3-rotor, compact-sized B♭ horn.
It was manufactured by Josef Lidl in the Czech Republic.

All rotors, the finger hook, and the slides were movable. The rotor bumpers are hardened, and there is some noise when operating the rotors.

When played, it produced a loud sound, surprisingly large for its compact size. It also plays evenly from the low to high registers.

While the moving parts are functional, there are many dents overall, and the area shown in the 5th image has a solder joint that has come undone. Therefore, it is being sold cheaply as junk.

A Yamaha 34B mouthpiece is included.

The price has been slightly reduced.
