Lignatone Semi-Double French Horn
This is a Lignatone F-Bb single-rotor French horn.
Although it is a very old instrument, all slides and rotary valves operate and function smoothly. The stopper corks on the rotors are worn and should be replaced with suitable ones.
The body has dents, scratches, and lacquer peeling appropriate for its age, but it is in good condition for its age. Soldering points that were detached have been repaired, and there are signs of repair.
The case is also old but functional. The leather handle has deteriorated with age and collapsed, so it has been simply repaired. The stoppers are functional, but there is no key. It is best to consider it for transport only.
I acquired this old instrument but have no use for it, so I am offering it to someone who needs it.
Alternatively, it could be a collectible as a rare single-rotor system horn.
I am unsure if the shank is compatible, but a YAMAHA 30C4 mouthpiece is included. You can play it with this for now.
