【Final Price Drop】Leblanc Wooden Bass Clarinet
I'm selling this item because I received it from someone else but won't be using it, so I'd like to pass it on to someone who will appreciate it.
It comes with a mouthpiece, cap, ligature (Selmer), reeds (opened but unused, 10 pieces), a reed case, and a strap, so you can start playing right away.
Maintenance tools are also included.
(Cork grease, key oil, swabs L and M)
The following is the description from when I purchased it:
Thank you for looking. I've used this for about 10 years, but I'm selling it because I recently acquired a long-bore clarinet.
This is a rare Leblanc wooden bass clarinet. I believe the model is either 325 or 325S, but I'm not very familiar with it, so the details are unknown.
As you can see in the photos, there are many dents on the bell and neck, peeling plating, rust, small scratches on the outside of the body, and the rubber bottom of the end pin is torn due to use, but this does not affect playing at all. Also, the case is in poor condition, and the previous owner has repaired it with felt, but this has not affected transportation or the storage of the instrument.
This model originally did not come with an end pin, but when I used it, I had a workshop install an end pin from a YCL-221, so it should be easier to handle for middle school students and women.
Unlike modern instruments, it does not have a C#/G# key on the left-hand lever key, but there is a mechanism where C#/G# can be produced by lifting only the middle finger with the Low F fingering, which I think is quite easy to handle once you get used to it.
Since I have played it quite a bit, it is a very resonant instrument from low to high. Although adjustments may be necessary to suit individual preferences, it is an instrument that I was using on the front lines until just the other day, so it is ready to play immediately.
I think this is the perfect instrument for those who want a bass clarinet but prefer wood instead of resin... and are having trouble with older models that don't come with an end pin...
I will add photos if there are any unclear parts. I am also open to price negotiations to some extent, so please feel free to comment.
Thank you for your consideration.
