Leblanc Oboe Semi-Automatic Case with One Reed

I purchased this oboe about 10 years ago, possibly from Yahoo Auctions, as I wanted to learn to play. It is quite an old instrument.

A professional player tested it and confirmed that all notes, from the low B to the high G, produce sound normally.

The playing feel is similar to a Yamaha semi-automatic. There is some raspiness in the middle C# and D notes, and the pitch of the middle F is unstable. I was told that if played with sufficient breath support, it can be used in a hall.

The case is in poor condition. The left lock is difficult to open, and the case can be opened and closed by pressing the lid to the right and opening it by hand.

There are no caps for the joints or cork parts.

A single, easy-to-play reed will be included.

I have received advice that this is recommended for those who want to try playing the oboe.
