MSR Lightning Ascent Snowshoes: Lightweight design with excellent traction.
- Brand: MSR
- Model Name: Lightning Ascent
- Color: Gray/Red
- Features: Lightweight design, excellent traction, adjustable straps

This is a women's model, but it is only slightly narrower than the men's model. Depending on your build, men may find this model lighter and easier to walk in.

The Lightning series snowshoes utilize the lightest materials, with frame blades that provide unparalleled traction (grip). The 360° Traction Frame, a blade-like structure surrounding the perimeter, and two cross members provide excellent grip and rigidity, while the durable and flexible deck conforms to the terrain. They firmly grip the snow surface even on steep ascents and traverses, where snowshoes typically struggle.
