Yukata: Rabbits and the Moon
Sleeve length: 167cm Sleeve span: 64cm Front width: 24cm Back width: 29cm Machine stitched On a crisp white background, flowers drawn in a blue-purple gradation, perhaps cherry blossoms... The white of the rabbit leaping against a pale purple moon stands out beautifully. Although it was unused, I noticed some slight soiling, so I washed it. It is now clean and refreshed. I will describe the care instructions below, and I hope they are helpful. ■ About Care ① Spot clean stains with a mild detergent, etc. ② Fold neatly and put it in a laundry net, use the delicate cycle. ③ Spin for less than a minute (stop after about 20 seconds) ④ On a waterproof sheet (like two large plastic bags), refold it neatly, place another waterproof sheet over the whole thing, and weigh it down (for about 30 minutes) ⑤ Hang to dry in the shade on a kimono hanger (indoors with good ventilation is also OK) This is how I do it. When I was young, I had my yukata dry-cleaned every time, and the length shrank considerably. Washing it myself will also shrink it somewhat, but I think it's better than dry cleaning. You may already know this, but I hope it helps.
