Shijira Yukata Summer Kimono Cotton Polyester
I've finished tailoring a shijira yukata, which can also be worn as a summer kimono. It's made from a cotton 35% / polyester 65% fabric cut from Western clothing material. I think it has a boyish, cool finish, but the image can be changed in many ways depending on the obi. Shoulder to hem: 159cm Sleeve length: 67cm Front width: 25.5cm Back width: 30cm The unique unevenness of shijira fabric keeps it from sticking to the skin and gives it a crisp feel. I think it will be very breathable, so I've attached a small koshiate (seat lining) to avoid hindering that. Although it is somewhat sheer, the color is dark, and it won't be see-through from a distance, so I think you can wear it from the beginning of the warm season until it cools down.
