Rare Vintage Clarinet CONNOR ◆ All Pads Replaced
This is a mid-20th century vintage clarinet.
I fell in love with its design, which fully brings out the soft, warm feel of the clarinet, and purchased it here.
I tried playing it a few times, but it didn't suit me, so I reluctantly decided to sell it.
(My apologies to the previous seller.)
The body is an elegant black, with a beautiful, deep reddish-brown hue.
The bell, made of high-density old grenadilla, particularly showcases the reddish-brown color.
Although it is a vintage item, it is in very good condition, and I don't feel any stiffness in the key movements.
All pads have been replaced.
However, due to the design, the inner diameter of the barrel is larger, which may result in some play when fitting the mouthpiece.
Cork for adjustment will be included.
The following is the description from when I purchased it.
[Features and Adjustments of this Instrument]
Background: CONNOR (Stencil model from the mid-20th century. Presumed to be a commissioned piece from a famous workshop.)
Material: Old Grenadilla (Higher quality material than modern times, with a very beautiful wood grain.)
System: Boehm system (Can be played with modern fingerings.)
Unique Design: The joint between the upper joint and the barrel is designed to be longer than usual, providing excellent joint rigidity and airtightness, a testament to the craftsmanship of the era. The joint between the mouthpiece and the barrel also has a slightly larger inner diameter than usual, likely designed to produce a thick, dark tone.
Maintenance Details:
All pads replaced and adjusted.
Joint corks replaced.
Body cleaned and conditioned with oil.
Keys polished.
Accessories: Semi-hard case (new)

Immediate purchase is welcome.
