White powder (limescale from tap water) is attached to the filter. I have removed as much as possible, but if you are concerned, please refer to the following.

White powder forms / Filter becomes stiff
Limescale components in tap water can adhere and form white powder on the filter.
If the filter becomes clogged with limescale components, it will become stiff and water absorption will be poor (humidifying performance will decrease).
Please try soaking it in citric acid for about 30 minutes. You can also use commercially available citric acid.
If the dirt is severe, extend the soaking time or repeat the process several times.
